Product description
T-bolt hose clamps DIN 3017 secure hose assemblies onto hose barbs and hose nipples. The hex head screw engages the trunnion bolts held by the band and shortens the band length as it is tightened. This presses onto the elastic hose material to maintain a tight seal even under high pressures and reliably prevent the clamp from slipping.
The pull-off force and leak-tightness of the connection depend significantly on the nature of the hose and the geometry of the nipple and are enhanced by correct assembly. If necessary, multiple trunnion bolt hose clamps can be affixed in parallel at the same clamping point.
The recommended tightening torque refers to the hose clamp. Depending on the hose material, the trunnion bolt hose clamp should be tightened only far enough to avoid damaging the hose.
