Product Family Stainless Steel Quality Class 2
The Ganter product range includes a large number of standard parts made of high-quality, non-rusting stainless steels. Thanks to their outstanding material properties, these are used in a wide array of industries. Their corrosion and rust resistance in particular contributes to the value stability and longevity of machines and equipment.
For easier differentiation, the stainless steels used by Ganter are divided into stainless steel quality classes:

Product description
Knurled screws GN 591.2 are used to fasten machine covers, for example. The shank d4 provides simple loss prevention. Instead of a through-hole, this requires a second thread d2, potentially with a corresponding clearance bore d5.
Depending on the design and required clamping thickness a1 ... a3 of the cover, there are a number of assembly options as shown.
