Ball joints GN 3440.1 are made of plastic, making them lightweight, resistant to corrosion and electrically insulating. They are used with base plates GN 3441 for setting up and leveling machines, devices and equipment.
The internal thread can be used directly for space-saving fastening or can accommodate application-specific threaded studs, e.g. from spacers or threaded spindles. Forces must be introduced via the flat surface of the external hex.
