The Ganter product range includes a large number of standard parts made of high-quality, non-rusting stainless steels. Thanks to their outstanding material properties, these are used in a wide array of industries. Their corrosion and rust resistance in particular contributes to the value stability and longevity of machines and equipment.
For easier differentiation, the stainless steels used by Ganter are divided into stainless steel quality classes:
Trapezoidal lead nuts GN 103.2 are used together with trapezoidal thread spindles GN 103. The wrench flats are used for fastening and prevent the nut from turning. The nut can also be driven via the hexagon.
Since steel and stainless steel nuts tend to cold welding (seizing), the thread must be permanently lubricated. Therefore, steel and stainless steel nuts are primarily used for sporadic adjustments.
