Product Family Stainless Steel Quality Class 4
The Ganter product range includes a large number of standard parts made of high-quality, non-rusting stainless steels. Thanks to their outstanding material properties, these are used in a wide array of industries. Product description
Threaded plugs GN 738.5 attract iron particles which might be floating in the fluid. The stainless steel makes them suitable for use in particularly aggressive environments.
To avoid breakage or demagnetization, the round magnets are fitted with a plastic distance and protection tube. This tube has to be removed prior to installing the threaded plug.
The seal is embedded in a radial recess, and thus cannot be lost or squeezed out during tightening.
The outer diameter d1 of threaded plugs is matched to screw-in holes for pipe fittings according to DIN 3852.
