C-Washers GN 183 are used in particular for frequent assembly and disassembly and serve, for example, to axially secure gears to shafts or to fasten plates to bolts.
The outer diameter of the fasteners used, such as screws, washers, or nuts, must be selected to be smaller than the mounting diameter of the shaft or bolt itself.
After loosening the fasteners by a few millimeters, the C-Washer can be removed radially, allowing for quick disassembly of the assembly in the axial direction.
The dimensions of the C-Washers are matched to the standard parts shown in the application examples.
