GN 5910 Torque Limiting Knurled Knob Screws Plastic, Threaded Stud Steel, with Adjustable Torque

Torque limiting knurled knob screws GN 5910 are used when the manually applied torque is to be limited. The torque limit can be set between 0.2 Nm and 1 Nm.

When turned clockwise, the torque mechanical system of the knurled knob triggers an „over-engagement“ as soon as the specified torque is reached. When tightening, this will ensure that the maximum permissible torque is not exceeded. When turned counterclockwise, the mechanism locks such that the torque necessary for releasing is transferred.

Endurance tests have shown that the torque does not change even after up to 60,000 tightening cycles.
