Softline standard parts feature a soft and slip-proof surface and provide better force transfer between hand and operating element – especially in moist, oily, hot or cold ambient conditions.
The softline coating makes the mushroom shaped handles GN 718.1 particularly user-friendly and ergonomic.
The soft, slip-proof contact area improves the contact both in hot (hand perspiration) and in dry ambient conditions, in the event of oily surfaces and even high or low temperatures.
During mounting, easy blows with a soft hammer are sufficient to drive the knob into place, the shaft end should be slightly rounded or chamfered (30°).
The transparent cover cap (type T) allows symbols or similar elements to be attached.
Once the mushroom shaped handle has been fitted to the shaft, the symbol is placed into the recess of the separately supplied sight glass and carefully pushed or driven into the handle.
The symbol is fully protected from dirt and liquid by the tight connection between the sight glass and the mushroom shaped handle.
