Indexing plungers or indexing bolts are design parts that enable fast and defined adjustment of moving machine components. Pulling on a knob or a ring moves a pin out of the opposing part in order to bring parts to the corresponding position and then lock them in place there. Indexing plungers, also called indexing bolts, are available in various materials, sizes and designs.
